After all of these years, this place is still one of my favorites for banh mi sandwiches. They give a relatively good amount of meat in their sandwiches compared to the minimal slices from Lee's down the street.
There is a small parking lot which makes it easily accessible to the public. They also offer a variety of pastries and other sandwiches as well. -

I am so sad to report that Mr. Baguette no longer holds the same high expectations in my heart.
I came here after a few years after a long day of work hoping to enjoy a banh mi. And it was so damn dry. Everything was dry. There was rarely any pate or mayo, if there is any.... I like my sandwiches to be packed with ingredients and have some kind of sauce. The bread was hard to bite and the ingredients inside weren't all that spectacular. I'm not surprised by the lack of visitors here. I used to come here so often and always found myself in a line. Nowadays, it's empty and kind of sad looking.
I grew up eating this but I'll stick with Banh Mi My Tho. -

I had to give this one star but I really mean to give a 0 stars. I come here to purchase their bread one thing I noticed about Mr. Baguette different of other places is their bread is super hard and very dry. Its so hard that my kids and I can't eat it we had to trash it due to it been so hard dry like old bread. Feel i I bite into a log. Lee sandwich across the street is way better and their bread is not hard like mr. baguette. I see all the reviews most of them said mr. baguette is hard and dry I do agree with them. Never will I come back.

I come here solely for their sesame seed baguettes, they are simply delicious! Priced well and made fresh throughout the day, I take them to go to accompany dinner. Service is great and they have a variety of sandwiches and good coffee here too. Great place if you are looking for a cheap bite.

Tried the special #1 and it was pretty good. This is my first time having a viet sandwich so I didn't know what to expect. I'd order extra cilantro next time. The baguette was excellent and very freshly made. I want to try more options. I would also agree with many posts mentioning the groups of looky loo men outside always smoking. Not entirely too uncomfortable but worth mentioning. It can get very busy here with limited parking in the parking lot.
